What is Full Spectrum CBD?

  • CBD or Cannabidiol products include all of the naturally occurring plant cannabinoids found in the entire plant, including cannabinoids like THC (tetrahydrocannabinol, also known as delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol), terpenes and essential oils found from root to stem.

Recreational Cannabis, Medical Use, and CBD

Recreational use of cannabis stands as one of the most popular recreational drugs in the world. Though some people who do abuse cannabis experience mental health issues, studies on this topic are scarce to find many negative effects. Humans have been using cannabis for more than 5000 years for various medicinal uses, from pain to nausea. Only in the last forty years since it’s discovery, has CBD been used as an accepted life enabling treatment.

Studies from The National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA) issues guidelines to state agencies regarding research and regulation of cannabis. At the federal level, the purchase of CBD is legal, as long as it doesn’t contain more than 0.3 percent THC. Please, note some state laws have laws on the books, which put restrictions on buyers of CBD.

It has also been shown to reduce anxiety in people with chronic conditions and provides those with epilepsy with relief from seizures. It’s also one of the few plant-based drugs that act like a pharmaceutical, not just a recreational drug. Which is why we use whole-plant extracts, full to the brim with naturally occurring full flux and synergistic cannabinoids and terpenes.

Still not sure? It’s all about how you use CBD. While in smaller doses CBD can show a degraded response. Repeated scientific research shows that CBD rich extracts are consistently effective in higher doses than smaller doses.
